Default sub Forum GONE??

To the masters of forum software... I need some help. I recently promoted a user to Global Mod. Since then the "stock" if you will General Forum is gone. He can not view it. He can see it if he logs out but with his user its not there anymore. Did I change something by accident or is this a glitch...?

Thanks for all the help.

Dusty

Hello,

In your administrative area, you will see a link to Forums. Click on that

Once you do, you will see the "global" forum (the first one created). In that row, you will see two options, Modify and Move.

Click on Modify, and you will see a page where you can do various things such as change the forum name, set permissions, etc.

In the permissions, make SURE that "global moderator" is ticked. In fact, make sure ALL the usergroups you wish to see in there are ticked. By default, "global moderator" is not ticked, and this is most likely where you are having your problem.

If there are any other questions I can answer, or if this doesn't help you out, please, do let me know.

Please let me know if this resolved your problem, or if it still exists.

Thanks!
