[PHPBB3] Forum upgrades - June 11, 2008

I'll be upgrading the phpbb3 forums this morning. Because of the countless problems in the past with upgrades, there MAY be problems and I MAY have to revert back to the older databases. Before I do anything, I'll make backups just to be on the safe side.

This will upgrade the forums to phpbb3.0.1 and (supposedly) a stable release. We'll see just how stable of a release of the script it is, though.

Work on this will begin approximately noon CST today

Due to the massive problems with the last update, I put this one off for aa few days. The last thing I want to do is kill the phpbb3 forums AND the phpbb2 in the same day, or the same week.

I'm rather retentive about backups, which is a good thing, but I think for now, I'm going to put this off. We'll try again next Friday, the 13th, so let's go with Thursday, just to avoid the bad karma there
