Url pages from BBCode are loading in _self,... is there a way to have it load in a new Window so I don't have to use the browser back button?

Almost all browsers any more have an "open link in...." in the right click menu, whether the target is new window,new tab, etc. This should be used.
Adding 'targets' to force windows to open up in a new window, new tab, etc, breaks w3c validation, as the current consensus is that individuals should be allowed to choose whether or not they want to open the link in the window, tab, etc. |
